The nature of fitting a kitchen on a fast moving, modern, leading constructor site is, as we all know, a different process than that carried out on smaller sites or domestic fits.
It requires a team aware of those differences who are experienced in using a diverse set of skills and with an adaptable mind set.
Whether the project is 10 kitchens or 610, we will be working with and communicating with other trades. This means that check measures and visual checks need to be carried out to ensure the kitchen fits, the M&E team have prepared the plot, painting has been carried out to the desired level and that the units have arrived – in one piece.
The units need to be fitted to wall pattresses; fillers, end panels and doors added; clean out, signoff and wrap; end the first fit process – or so many believe.
At TACF we ensure that you are aware of the completion, normally in the form of a signoff note. If the kitchen is a partial completion, you need to know why. Missing parts or delivery of damaged parts need to be reported back as soon as possible to allow for full completion to happen in the timescale set at site.
2nd fix, if required, is carried out to an agreed standard (dry or wet), when the programme dictates.
